PULSE Recording Studio - Acoustic Open Mic Night
PULSE Recording Studio hosted its first Acoustic Open Mic Night on Monday the 9th of February; with various musicians, bands, young volunteers and local music lovers in attendance. The event went down a storm and music on the night was fantastic. yipworld.com was proud to attract such fantastic talent from all over Ayrshire and beyond; with Michelle McManus travelling from Glasgow with her new signing; singing sensation Michael Brady who charmed the audience with his catchy songs. We also hosted the band ‘Uncle Big Bad' who willing travelled all the way from Airdrie just to play on the night.
Ayrshire acts included local boys The Ghosties who opened the event, as well as Thomas Hardie, Tragic O'Hara (who will be running guitar tuition at PULSE) and Colin Hunter (Recorded his new album at PULSE) who stole the show with his fantastic voice, songwriting and a cheeky cover of ‘Lets Get It On'. He was so well appreciated by the audience that he was coaxed into doing an encore. The next open mic night will be held on the 2nd of March.
